Soil formation, development and functions influence the sustainability of ecosystem. The unique characteristics of soil have made it one of the key subjects of the Earth Science. Minerals are important components of the soil environment. They influence on the water-holding capacity of soils and affect their cation exchange capacity. Mineral weathering is an important process in soils, during which available forms of important nutrient elements are released from minerals structure into the soil system for root uptake. Micaceous minerals are common components of soils, sediments and minerals. Several studies have examined the characteristics of compost enriched with mineral compounds. While the mineralogical changes during the process of compost production have not yet been investigated. Therefore, the objective of this research was to evaluate the rate of biological weathering of phlogopite with time in phlogopite-enriched compost.Materials and methods: An experiment was run in petri dishes under laboratory conditions using 2 levels of phlogopite mineral (0 and 20% by weight) and four time periods (45, 90, 135 and 180 days) in 3 replications. Each petri dish contained 20 g of a mixture of cow manure and phlogopite mineral. In each period, 6 petri dishes were separated and their contents were oven dried at 30 °C, powdered and passed through a 2 mm sieve. After preparing the contents of petri dishes, organic carbon content of the samples was measured by wet oxidation method and their total nitrogen by Kjeldahl method. The mineralogical changes were evaluated using X-ray diffraction analysis.Results: XRD patterns showed that during the composting process, phlogopite was partially weathered to vermiculite and smectite. The rate of weathering was higher at the early stages. The weathering of phlogopite was influenced considerably by the activity of microbial communities during organic matter decomposition process. At the end of the composting process, the weathering rate decreased and continued at a stable rate. Mineralogical changes occurred in phologopite during the composting were in line with the reduction of C/N ratio with time. The C/N ratio rapidly changes at the early stages of the composting process and gradually becomes constant.Conclusions: In general, the results indicate that the increase of availability of elements such as potassium in mica-enriched compost is in fact due to the weathering of micaceous minerals added. The weathering rate was influenced by the activities of microbial communities.}, keywords = {Enriched compost,phlogopite,Weathering,Cow manure,Vermiculitization}, title_fa = {تغییرات کانی شناسی فلوگوپیت طی فرآیند تولید کمپوست غنی شده}, abstract_fa = {سابقه و هدف: خاک لایه نازکی از سنگ های خرد شده و کانی ها است که سطح زمین را می پوشاند و حاصل برهمکنش اتمسفر، لیتوسفر، بیوسفر و هیدروسفر می باشد. شکل گیری، توسعه و عملکرد خاک بر پایداری اکوسیستم تاثیر می گذارد. ویژگی های منحصر به فرد خاک، آن را به یکی از موضوعات کلیدی در علوم زمین تبدیل کرده است. کانی ها جز مهمی از محیط خاک می‌باشند که بر بسیاری از ویژگی های خاک مانند ظرفیت نگهداری آب در خاک و ظرفیت تبادل کاتیونی خاک اثر می‌گذارند. هوادیدگی کانی ها یک فرآیند غالب در خاک است که عناصر غذایی را از ساختار مواد معدنی به فرم قابل جذب برای گیاهان در می آورد. کانی‌های میکایی از اجزای معمول خاک، رسوبات و مواد معدنی می‌باشند. مطالعات متعددی به بررسی خصوصیات کمپوست غنی‌شده با ترکیبات معدنی پرداخته‌اند. اما تاکنون مطالعه‌ای به بررسی روند تغییرات کانی‌های موجود در این ترکیبات نپرداخته است. به همین دلیل، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی سرعت هوادیدگی کانی فلوگوپیت در اندازه رس موجود در کمپوست غنی‌شده با فلوگوپیت در طی زمان‌های مختلف انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: تیمارهای آزمایش شامل دو سطح کانی فلوگوپیت (0، 20% وزنی) و 4 بازه زمانی (45، 90، 135 و180 روز) در 3 تکرار می‌باشند. میزان 20 گرم مخلوط (کود گاوی + کانی) برای هر پتری دیش در نظر گرفته شد. در هر یک از بازه‌های زمانی 6 پتری دیش خارج گردید و محتویات در آون 30 درجه سانتی‌گراد خشک شده و پس از پودر شدن از الک 2 میلی‌متری عبور داده شد. پس از آماده‌سازی محتویات پتری دیش‌ها، مقدار کربن آلی به روش اکسیداسیون‌تر و مقدار نیتروژن کل نیز بر اساس روش کلدال اندازه‌گیری شد. مطالعه تغییرات کانی‌های رسی با استفاده از روش پراش پرتو ایکس صورت گرفت.یافته‌ها: نتایج الگوهای پراش نگاشت پرتو ایکس بخش رس نشان داد که در طی فرآیند کمپوستینگ، فلوگوپیت به کانی ورمی-کولایت و تا حدی اسمکتایت تبدیل شده است. میزان این تبدیل در ابتدای فرآیند با توجه به نیمه پوسیده بودن کود گاوی با سرعت بیشتری صورت گرفته و به مرور زمان با نزدیک شدن به انتهای فرآیند کمپوستینگ، سرعت تبدیل (هوادیدگی) به یک میزان ثابتی می-رسد. تغییرات کانی‌شناسی با تغییرات زمانی نسبت C/N طی فرآیند کمپوستینگ هماهنگ است. نسبت C/N نیز در ابتدای کمپوستینگ با شیب زیادی کاهش یافته و با گذشت زمان به میزان ثابتی می‌رسد.نتیجه‌گیری: به طور کلی نتایج حاکی از آن است که افزایش عناصر قابل استفاده همچون پتاسیم در کمپوست‌های غنی‌شده با میکا در حقیقت به واسطه هوادیدگی کانی میکایی موجود در آن‌ها می‌باشد بطوریکه سرعت هوادیدگی این کانی نیز تحت تاثیر فعالیت‌های میکروبی قرار گرفته است.}, keywords_fa = {کمپوست غنی‌شده,فلوگوپیت,هوادیدگی,کود دامی,ورمی کولیتی شدن}, url = {https://ejsms.gau.ac.ir/article_4983.html}, eprint = {https://ejsms.gau.ac.ir/article_4983_e1d55a0b5a753fcc77075c25d837cca3.pdf} }
